MusicianCorps National Pilot Impact Data Coming Soon!
This fall, Music National Service has been busy reviewing data from the MusicianCorps National Pilot and is currently developing a a full report of findings from a successful year of service. In consultation with experts Cynthia Gibson, Ph.D., Jonathan Zaff, Ph.D., and Corey Newhouse, M.P.P., MNS has developed a comprehensive evaluation plan to track student and program progress. Evaluations are completed by MusicianCorps Fellows, partners and the youth themselves at the beginning and end of the year to provide multiple perspectives and a baseline for program effectiveness in youth engagement and skill development.
Funding for the evaluation was provided by the Surdna Foundation and was conducted with the MusicianCorps National Pilot partners: Urban Gateways in Chicago, the Ruth U. Fertel Foundation in New Orleans and ArtsCorps in Seattle.
